What's the recovery time from surgery date for 2.5 cm femur lengthening, using PRECICE Stryde or whatever's the best method? What about 3 cm, 3.5 cm, and 4 cm? I'm also interested in recovery time for PRECICE 2.2, etc. and whether certain surgeons can reduce recovery time.

The potential downside is regretting not doing more. I don't mind the wasted money.

I have a lot of money to spare, and I want to return to work ASAP. Is the post-lengthening recovery 4 - 5 months regardless of the amount lengthened? I thought 2.5 cm might be 25 days lengthening + 50 days before resuming work, and 8 cm might be 80 days lengthening + 160 days before resuming work. But maybe it's more like this:

2.5 cm is 25 days lengthening + 100 days before resuming work
5 cm is 50 days lengthening + 100 days before resuming work
8 cm is 80 days lengthening + 160 days before resuming work

I care about pain somewhat. Do you think total pain is roughly proportional to recovery time?

Thanks! I'm a software engineer. I can WFH, which might change in the future. Either way, I'd prefer to be able to walk before resuming work.

Are those PRECICE STRYDE recovery times? How much do recovery times differ between STRYDE and 2.2?

You're confident that STRYDE won't return? https://www.limbplastx.com/precice-stryde-removal expresses optimism for its return, but maybe you have a better picture.

By PRECICE times, are you saying PRECICE 2.2 and STRYDE have similar recovery times?
