Quote from: TIBIKE200 on June 21, 2016, 06:10:02 AMI am sorry, but this is complete bullcrap..

As a 171cm guy almost all of my gfs and one night stands were at the 160+ range and 3 as tall as me or even taller.

A girl who calls a 185 man "short" is mentally ill.

I don't think it is bullcrap.
1) I don't say it is impossible to get girls taller than your own opposite sex height. Of course not. I say when you look for girls taller than your own opposite sex height, you should expect, more or less often, to be refused because of your height.
2) He doesn't say she called him short. Actually, she said he was 'too short for her'. She probably knows he is actually tall, but she considers herself as very tall (even if the difference between their same-sex height is actually small : 3 cms), and she onlybwants men in her stature class and higher, as many shorter girls do.
I don't say it is a good behaviour though, I just try to understand what's going on.

It is bullcrap because humans are not robots that work according to equations...
All you need to do is walk outside and see couples of all sizes and shapes...

You seem not to understand. It's not because you disagree with it that it must be wrong.
I don't say there is no couple with different stature ratio etc.
But actually, this "equation" works very well in real. You probably just didn't see that the girls you had and who were taller than your feminine height (159 cms) found you actually short and for most of them, too short for them. It doesn't mean they didn't like you, you may have plenty of other qualities than make height being a very secondary factor.

If you want to go all scientific, according to polls (which are the only way to know what people actually want) a woman usually prefers the man to be taller than her... That's it.
If I was too short for someone she would not date me.

Other qualities? I think I am good looking (Not hollywood actor good looking) and interesting enough to hold a conversation... Nothing spectacular... Real world works that for some women you will be attractive and for others you wont.
There isnt any "height ratio" in couples. I know that in 96% of couples the man is taller but in most couples that difference goes from an inch to 4-6 inches (according to a study done on US population I believe).
