These questions are to all the veterans of femur LL:

- After lengthening your femurs (around 8 cm) are you facing issues when standing up from a sitting position?  Are you able to stand up without any support? (Since you have long femurs now, this means you would have to exert more pressure on your knees to get up)
- Are you facing any other day-to-day mobility issues due to long femurs?

I am currently around 6 cm of femur lengthening and wanted some perspective from fellow LLers.

Obvious not veteran LL yet, but I have no problem standing up from a sitting position. Since I'm still lengthening, I cannot walk for more than 1km a day.

Frankly anyone outside of 6months to 1year Post should t answer this question. Of course you’re going to have mobility issues etc and your body isn’t magical.  Also you have to understand some people are downright lazy and will not take the extra steps that is required to return to above normal functionality.

Personally I believe rigorous training and PT is needed post LL.
