Does anyone know what is the normal ratio for arm length vs height? Like arm length (from bony tip of shoulder to the tip of the little finger) / height = ? I guess it might be 40 ~ 45% ?
Well I am 178 cm and my arms are 75 cm long which gives a ratio of 0,421. My dad is 187 and his arms are 78 cm or a ratio of 0,417.
I really don't know but I guess you could try to stay above a ratio of 0,4. For example if I do 5 cm my new ratio will be 0,409 so short but still acceptable -I guess.
Thanks for the reply. My arm length is about 72 cm. If I do 6.5 - 7 cm, I'll be 178 cm. The ratio will be 0.404. I guess it's not that bad?

I guess, your arms will be 3 cm shorter than mine at the same height. They'll look short but not strangely so I think, but really you would know better. Stand on your toes and check it out.
Hmm, I am 1m75 tall and my arms are like 79.5 cm Lol. Well, I guess I have monkey arms then.
Wow, that's quite long. May I ask your wingspan and shoulder width?

I think I look fine.

My armspan is around 1m89.5-1m90. My arms are not that long but I got abnormally big hands Lol not quite sure about shoulder width though. Its quite average for 1m75 guy I guess. You can rest assure that these numbers vary between people and people, so dont be too worry about your proportion. Personally, i will not do more than 5 because of issues related to athletic ability. Other than that, I think 7-8 cm should be fine proportion wise.
are you sure about that radius? after ll mine would be exactly 2.3 or 0.435. where have you heard about this radius?
