No surgeon would go for that. It would be considered malpractice. I’m sure theoretically there could be a way, but it’s too risky for a surgeon to willingly go for it.
Can anyone answer why? I don't see why logically you won't be able to reuse them.

The main problem is intra-medular infection. And that is a BIG one !
Precice and LATN are NEVER re-use, because of many reasons.
Betzbone and Gnail are hard to clean, because the clicking mechanism.
LON is possible to be re-used, because the internal rod is simple, much easier to clean after and the external rail has no reason to not be re-used. But is still risky.
New generation of Illizarov frame is re-usable, but the internal rod is basically same as LON.
Actually only old style Illizarov was 100% re-usable... because no internal rod.
