You're right about that, the shoulder is more than the clavicle but think about this the clavicle is from your neck to your shoulder, you're telling me extending it wouldn't work? the bone would be longer so that means the shoulder will be farther from neck which is basically more width, don't see how this wouldn't be possible

No, only the bone would be longer, nothing else.

It would work I've spoken to a limb lengthening doctor about it, Dr. monegal. There was also a plastic surgeon who advertised this technique as "shoulder widening" claiming up to one inch could be added.

That's good news, I really wonder what the price would be since I have somewhat of a narrow build and I'd like it reshaped which would widen it by itself I'm assuming I'm only 18 but I'm really itching to get this done

Careful though, Dr. Monegal said he'd only known it done for reconstructive purposes and he didn't know how it would affect the function of a healthy/normal shoulder. Also that plastic surgeon doesn't do it anymore and I don't know why, hopefully it was just lack of demand but maybe it just wasn't safe or practical.

yeah I know, I might have to go with deltoid augmentation but I don't even know if that will make them wider and broader in width

That's pointless you might as well build muscle in that case. The only way to make your actual bonestructure more horizontal is to lengten bones.

Yeah we gotta find someone who will lengthen our clavicles then, I don't even know why the surgery is not in high demand, I think it's more appealing than LL but that's just my opinion

OP in this thread is in a similar situation (http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=2297.msg36482#msg36482) I tried sending him a pm but he hasn't responded. There is some additional info in there if you're interested.
