So, I'm 18, and I'm pretty sure that I am almost done with puberty. Problem is, I've never had a teenage growth spurt before. I am 5'6.5, and my mother is 5'6, and my dad is 6'0. According to my growth curve, I was estimated to be between 6'0-6'3. Here were my heights from 10 onwards:
10-5'0
11-5'3
12-5'5
13-5'6
14-5'6
15-5'6
16-5'6
17-5'6
18-5'6.5

So, will I still hit my growth spurt? Everything else has been normal; I have facial hair, a lot of muscle mass, etc. but my growth has lagged waaaaaay behind. Will I still hit my growth spurt?

Yeah, I'm hoping to end up like Dennis Rodman, whom went from 5'7-6'9 between senior year of high school to junior year of college. I mean , maybe not that much lol, but 2-4 inches before doing ll would be amazing!

Quote from: Wannabegiant on October 16, 2014, 11:37:09 PMI had no idea HGH could be that effective for this purpose, The guy managed to grow such an insane ammount in a very short time span and didnt suffer any noticable negative side effects. It seems with such efficiency it should be easy and safe with a lesser ammount of HGH to gain some inches at least, which would make it quite simply to avoid having our children ending up short.

Unless of course this guy was insanely lucky and very few individuals gain any height from taking it, or at most very little height.

Well, I am getting a growth hormone prescription from my endocrinologist.

No, I've never used steroids. I only suggested using them to aid in PT during ll. No, I probably suffered from precocious puberty.

I didn't even have one at 12. I never had one. I grew consistently to 5'6-5'7 and just randomly stopped.

Yep, it sucked. I'm hoping I could hit 6'1 someday.

Quote from: Outgrown on December 28, 2014, 04:03:46 PMhgh is practically useless for vertical growth once the growth plates fuse.

Quote from: Outgrown on December 28, 2014, 07:43:51 PMEven if you got an x-ray for your left hand, that doesn't mean that all the bone has hardened. The vertebrae should open for a good amount of time after puberty is "finished," along with many other parts. Although, some cases can be delayed growth patterns in which the body will sometime grow uncontrollably for a short time to make up for what's lost, but it's a rare feat.

I started puberty when I was ten, and it sucked seeing all my friends get taller later on only to stop acknowledging me.

I started when I was eight. It was some real bull .

Quote from: Outgrown on December 28, 2014, 07:51:16 PMWhat's odd though is that our best basketball player in my highschool started puberty when he was 8, but he finished growing around 12-13. What's even more peculiar is the fact that he is 6"2.

So that rose my confusion in the precocious pattern...

Same thing with a dude in our highschool. He's about 6'6 or so, and he started puberty with me when he was only about 2-4 inches taller than me.
