Scarring matters to me.
If there is a huge difference in scarring, I will just not even consider LON.

Plenty of diaries with photos to make your own decision.
Scars varies between different surgeons even if they use same method. There are surgeons that leave small scars with LON and also offer scar removal as a bonus, so you are left with barely any scars
