Was on anold forum where users were arguing if it is compulsory to remove the internal nail. Do you?

welcome back Cole, yes you have to remove it for a safety issue. preferable 1-3 years

I think almost every reputable doctor recommends it and so that's what I'd follow. plus some patients have lasting irritation from screws that I think won't go away until you remove everything
