Hey guys,

What all needs to be taken care of if someone wants to do LL alone?

just set up your airbnb or stay so that it is wheelchair friendly a few days before you go into surgery. So when you get discharged you are good to go. I did it alone, slight work. People that said it's impossible is full of crap. For reference, I'm an average-athletic build 26 y/o male that did Precise 2.2 femurs.

And imagine in a few months with the new precice stryde weight bearing comes out, it would be much more easier to do LL alone. Another great tip I have read about, is ordering takeaway right to the door of your appartment, that is either Frozen or eatable right at the spot.

its not a stryde nail, its a modified precice nail with 58kg weight bearing capabilities per leg. So you will still need some kind of crutches for walking.

Its no where near a full weight bearing nail.

How do you know the details? Also won't weight bearing very by diameter? You know amount for each size diameter on new Precise Max?

upper body strength, food delivery, months worth of toilet paper/wetwipes, toilet with handles, wheelchair, vitamin d + calcium.

very-nice-to-haves: massage gun, silicone bandage/tape for scars, voltaren pain gel.

If you're using a weight bearing nail, get a toilet seat raiser. Makes it much easier to lower yourself when taking a dump. They are a bit uncomfortable IME but it's better than struggling to get low enough to sit on the toilet to begin with.

I would honestly say delivery is the most important thing.  Just getting food in the door is critical.  And little things like running out of toilet paper goes from a small inconvenience to an entire days task when youre doing LL (although you could probably door dash that).  So think of everything you need ahead of time and stock up and get familiar with all the delivery apps.

Wait, is this confirmed? I’ve not heard of this. This is recent news?
