Nobody can tell you who to do your surgery with. It's never a good idea to commit to a surgeon based on a recommendation alone. E-mail the hospital and/or call them and see if you can talk with Dr. Murthy directly. The best thing would be to have a personal consultation with him if you are able to do so.

It's not a good idea to have people call for you. What languages do you speak? The hospital may have staff members there that can speak your language. You can use the Contact Us form on the hospital website to inquire about Dr Murthy.

I sent an email to that address and here's the response:

We provide complimentary airport transfers. Kindly share the flight details at least 3 days prior from the travelling date.

Dr. Murthy has performed hundreds of cases till date.

Good post.

Max Super Specialty Hospital has a pretty good reputation among doctors in Delhi. Many have left other hospitals to work there. I haven't been there yet (stupid visa is taking way too long to process) but I suspect that if doctors have moved to MSSH due to higher pay and work environment you'd get better attention from them since they're more satisfied with their work environment.

yes.... im   curious about lon too, but the nail in my knee bothers me more than a few months extra in frames... no reply yet from that email, hope soon....  you said this hospital has good reputation though?
