Well I think the problems can creep up after nail removal if the cortices are left too thin.

Hi Kenda
You are right about that.  For lengthening, you don't want to have too much muscle in your legs.  As you said, muscle will increase the resistance.  It is better to focus on flexibility during or before lengthening.

Dr Guichet recommended having muscles to lengthen, but I think he doesn't have much credit anymore.

The thing is you lose a lot of muscle with surgery, in your thighs and glutes, if you already don't have them, you will have nothing at the end of it and you will need to rebuild.

Not even the 8.5mm made for humerus? She must have really thin legs.

what humerus is to do with legs being "too thin" as you say?

I mean the humerus bone is much thinner than femur. If a nail made for humerus does not fit in her legs, she must have really thin legs.

Bluebarbie did not do her surgery or consult with any of the US doctors, therefore we cannot confidently say that her body could not accommodate Stryde or Precice

Her quote:
ItsMyLife,
I regret on how much money I had spent and pain and discomfort I had gone through without knowing I could have internals with other doctors. But then I could again relieve on not having had any complications or other hard situations coz I had done in that expansive but a reliable country.

BTW her surgery was a success with 8CM lengthening

She did LATN, right? So she end up using a nail in the end. I'm happy she recovered well.
