Hi Franz,

If I do 5 cm femur fitbone, when will I be able to walk without crutches? How long will I use the wheel chair after finishing lengthening? And how long will I use the crutches after finishing lengthening ?

Hey Franz,

I am planning to do my limb lightening next early year! I am 174 and my goal are around 7cm femurs. Are you offering any full weight bearing nails like Betzbone? And what are the prices?

Hey Franz,

I am a 159cm 19yr old male and played sports all my life. My leg muscles are very strong and was wondering how this may effect the LL surgery?

Also, in the case of complications requiring surgery are additional costs added on?

Why is the recovery period 3 months for one surgery but 9 months for two? For patients who opt for two surgeries, how much progress have they typically made by month 9? Would you recommend staying the full 9 months or splitting the procedure, doing one surgery this year and the other the next?

Hello Dr Franz

can you comment on this patient of yours xrays, the right femur looks funky to me, the patient has stated they have a rotational deformity and a discrepancy pre-op

is that the reason for the deviation from the anatomical axis on the right?

thanks
