Hello everyone,
I've been reading a lot ever since having a conversation with Dr. Betz around October 2015, because i'm considering doing a leg lengthning on my right leg.

The thing about my case is that i wouldn't do it in order to become taller, like most of you guys do, but because i have a hip dyplasia and my right leg is about 3,5 cm shorter than my left one. I'm 19 and i have scoliosis due to the difference, so this surgery would help me medically a lot, when looking at the future.

Also i'm living in Saarland, about 30 minutes away from the clinic and my health insurance would pay for the surgery, so the circumstances are very different than for most of you guys.

I do not know if i can take your cases and experiences as referance, but i have to admit, i'm scared as hell and to be honest, not entirely sure if i want to do this.
Is there anybody whose case is similiar to mine, and who can talk to me a little about what's to come?

I'm just wondering for how long i won't be able to move in terms of do sports or continue working as a waitress, how long i'll have to walk on crutches, if i can get that frightning duck ass too, if i too get back pain, will i gain weight or lose some due to little movement, and how is the treatment for people, who are not paying themselves for the surgery? How are they treated? I imagine not as well as the private patients (and believe me, i've seen the station the private patients stay in, it is heaven!)!

Can anybody help me, and if not, where can i find people like me? I know anold forum old forum  Make Me Taller, but everyone's doing it, simply to be taller!

Hope this is not completely out of place, sorry if it is.
Greetings,
Melanie
