Hello,
I would fly to Turkey in mid-January 2023 and look at 3 large leg lengthening clinics.
1. Livelifetaller. Unfortunately they have increased their prices for LON femur from 25k to 35k. This includes the operation, accommodation and all meals and physiotherapy.
2. Global Orthopedic Group. This clinic is supposed to be new, very modern, the doctors are called Dr. Metin Kucukkaya (has ben worked with the likes of Dr Donghooon Lee in South Korea and Dr Peter Thallar in Germany) and Dr Sami Soduco. Their rehabilitation team has been trained and worked with the ICCLL in Baltimore and Dr. Payley in the US. A LON femur costs 35 k. This includes the operation, accommodation and all meals and physiotherapy. (I got the information from an employee of the clinic via Whatsapp)
3. Prof Dr Yuksel YURTTAS | Limb Lengthening Surgery in Turkey. According to this forum and the staff, Dr. Yurttas must be very experienced and his phisiotherapy must be of a standard level. I will also look at his clinic and here is the price for LON Femur 25 k. This includes the operation, accommodation and all meals and physiotherapy. (Presumably they also increased their prices due to inflation)
It's difficult for me to make a decision because in this forum the employees always talk about themselves. I don't know which patient testimonials are bought and which are real. That's why I want to personally fly to Turkey for the days to see the clinics, the doctors, the patients and the quality of the physiotherapy team.
What would you advise me to look for? Of course, the patient experience is the most important thing to me. What else should I look out for? My goal is it doesn't matter to gain at least 8 cm with upper or lower leg and to get bigger. My maximum budget is 35 k, my bank doesn't give me more as a loan
. Do you have any other suggestions and clinics in Istanbul that I should look at? Only when I have developed a good feeling for a clinic will I have a leg lengthening operation in March 2023.
Greetings and sorry for my English.
Fly to Turkey (Istanbul) and see the big leg lengthening hospitals
Quote from: the188cmdream on December 26, 2022, 07:25:12 AMI called the Global Orthopedic Group and had a very good impression last week. I inquired about lengthening and it seems to be 66 000 USD for Precice 2 (all included). It also seems to be about 120 000 USD$ for quadrilateral (surgeries roughly 3 weeks apart).
They have two doctors, Sami Sokucu and Metin Kucukkaya, the inquired prices should be for Metin but opting to do the surgeries with Sami should cost less. Their physiotherapy team is really their selling point, they also do not take in many patients.
where did you do the surgery? In Turkey? Which hospital?
Quote from: AllinStryde on December 28, 2022, 05:48:42 PMCLL was the one thing in my life I was not bargain-hunting for. Compromising your health and ability to walk was not going to be part of my plan. I was willing to pay top dollar for this procedure and decided to go with Dr. Paley. No regrets.
What did you pay? What does Dr. Paley for leg surgery to grow up to 8 cm?
Quote from: Body Builder on December 28, 2022, 07:11:35 PMPeople still go to turkish butchers after dozens of horror stories from LL'ers that went there and were crippled.
Some of you are even naive or simply st*pid.
Do you have evidence that some patients have been crippled or have you read it somewhere and you think that's the truth? Do you know a patient who became crippled? If so, which doctor did he see?
Quote from: Limbfan2020 on December 28, 2022, 07:25:16 PMAll LL surgeons in Turkey and India are butchers!!! No exceptions!
Next butcher shop will be Iran!
Do you have any evidence? Besides rumours?
Quote from: Vogel on December 28, 2022, 08:04:22 PMOnly good surgeon in Turkey is Metin Kuccukaya. Don’t go to anyone else.
Kennst du zufällig die Preise von Dr Metin Kuccukaya?
Quote from: Body Builder on December 29, 2022, 12:14:07 AMThere are plenty of diaries and posts here with horror stories from Turkey. And from India too of course but we are talking about Turkey here.
I really can't believe how there are still people giving plenty of money to turkish doctor crooks to ruin themselves while they can do LL with the same money on first world countries like Italy and Greece.
Which doctors in Greece and Italy do you mean? And how do you know that things are going better for them? First please tell me the clinics. Thanks
So yesterday I visited my first clinic „Livelifetaller“. As soon as I arrived there were people from this clinic (or company in name health?)with walkie talkies and then a woman came up and asked me who I was, even though I had announced my appointment several months ago. I told them Sedat knows about my arrival but I feel this guy is God there and knows more than any Professor or Doctor how leg lengthening works and it just turned in. (He has been a patient himself and has had the surgery 3 times and has grown 20cm and I doubt he even studied)I didn't see him because I was told he was in surgery (which I didn't believe). This is where I got suspicious for the first time
I was kindly offered a coffee and then the younger brother Sedat came and he showed me through the clinics and answered all my questions. I was shown the rooms and everywhere were the "physiotherapists" that you can see on the instagram pictures and I had the feeling they want to build a family feeling towards you (which doesn't work for everyone like me because I'm very serious and I don't of feelings people and because these people are all about the MONEY no matter how much I suffer from my height).II have always asked sensitive questions, which is why I was looked at sensitively by this person because I didn't respond to their "family". I am there in these 3 months to grow and not to make the best contacts or anything else. After these 3 months I'm gone and what got me into building this hypocritical relationship? I will never visit this clinic again because I hope I have achieved my goal.
After that, a woman who spoke German introduced herself to me in the lobby and she answered my questions honestly like Sedat's brother, which I thought was good. After that I am going to address the most important question which is the price of LON Femur. And now attention (the operation and hotel accommodation cost 35 thousand euros and 2 months ago the same operation cost 25 thousand euros) I asked them what the reason was and they told me inflation was the main reason and the pills that you take for the operation you have to pay less and you have to pay for everything yourself.
In these 35 thousand, food is not covered. Not even breakfast where certain nutrients are very important and healthy reasons for healing and strengthening bones. asked him how many euros I have to reckon with in addition to the 35,000 in order to be able to eat well at least every other day, since nutrition is important after the operation. He said i should pay 5 thousand extra so the fun costs 40 thousand euros!
The price annoyed me so much that I closed my heart with this clinic. Yes, it's true, the physiotherapy is first good (Personally, I don't think family relationships with patients are good) and you have 24 services in these 3 months, you have people who are similar but please 40 thousand euros for an operation where you get a full plate of kebabs for 7 euros in Turkey?
This God Sedat or Dr. Buldu should be ashamed to offer such an operation for 40 thousand euros, which was 25 thousand euros 2 months ago. It is ashamed of others and un-Islamic to deal with the suffering of people in this way.
And why are they increasing the prices? I don't want their "family" relationship of patient to therapist, I want to grow up to 8 inches safely and cheaply. I think that's the best way to go to this clinic, but for this price I don't give a fk! 40 thousand is more than perverse! And the doctor who does this is not even a professor, Sedat is portrayed as the saint who takes all your pain away (and takes the money out of your wallet because of your suffering because of your lack of height)
It also seemed like a lie to me that this clinic is always full of patients! The patients I spoke to made a good impression, everyone said they could walk after 2 days with help and definitely don't regret their decision. But I won't do it for 40 thousand euros!
But I had a feeling from this team that they looked at me too pessimistically and I think this price is too high and that's why they commented on each other and I saw it in their looks. I don't give a about the family atmosphere for 40,000 euros, but yes, you can certainly achieve your goal of growing because I think the physiotherapy is good and the equipment was good. Anyone who can afford it and can handle their conscience well should operate on it. I will not do it.
In summary, I would also have asked 40 thousand euros per person for an operation as an entrepreneur, also established a family relationship with patients and would be very nice. But I didn't fall for it. So for me LiveLifeTaller failed because they work very hypocritically, they try to make you feel safe in an emotional way so that you can continue to be there and pay. Not with me.
Next time I will visit the hotel and the clinic of Prof Dr Yuksel YURTTAS | Limb Lengthening Surgery in Turkey. So stay tuned!!
