Hey guys,

Who is better to go with if you want to walk normally after recovery: Giotikas (Precise nail) or Dr Becker (Betz bone).
I know with Betz bone, you can get more lengthening 20-22cm, but I am also very worried about not being able to walk normally.
I don't want to sacrifice length, but if the risk is higher with Betz, then I don't think I have an option.

Could someone with experience guide me in choosing between these two, as this is a huge decision in my life?

I would say precise nail and reasonable length. It'll look weird if you do more than 8 cm in femurs or tibias 6 cms. So either way why lengthen 22 cm if it'll mess you up proportionately unless you got a huge wingspan but even than thats a lot of time off versus just 8 months with precise.

Can Betzbone really lengthen that much? I came into a guy who consulted him offline years ago and he told me Betz only lengthened 11-12cm maximally and he also told me Betz was pretentious about how much it could lengthen just for the propaganda.

I think the guy was talking about femurs only, because Becker does femurs max 10-12, tibias max 8-10.

Proportions yes are one thing, but I'm more concerned about the ability to walk normally. I'm wondering if Betz messes up the gait more than Precise?

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this decision, because I scheduled with Dr Becker soon. I'm really nervous about which to go with. I just want to be able to walk normally afterwards.

becker gives bow legs to all his patients it seems, ive not seen a single proper xray coming from him. like when you open a paley xray and see impeccable entry and axis extension and put it next to a becker xray you can laugh your heart out

he sticks the nail in there and "good enough" innit

mechanical nails are done, precice max and fitbone 2.0 make all these medieval devices obsolete
