I had moderate genu varus before the surgery, I have finished the lengthening period(tibia LON,about 6.5cm) and waiting for removing the fixer and I observed that I may have slightly genu valgus.
During the 1st surgery, the doctor adjusted tibia position for fix knee varus. And for the last 1cm lengthening period ,I lengthening inner side more than the outer side to fix knee varus, according to the doctor's suggestion(Remote advice, and it‘s a same advice for all varus genu patients, he doesn't see me in person).
When measuring the mechanical axis of the lower limbs, connecting a point in the centre of the femoral head to a point in the centre of the knee. For the left leg,the line will fall on the centre of the ankle. For the right leg,the line will fall on medial to the centre of the ankle.
Do I got a knee valgus ?For me slight genu varus is acceptable, but I don't want to get genu valgus.
