I wasn't happy with many things.. my height, my face shape, my number of friends, my body and fitness, relationships. I have fixed most of them and I am happier than many years ago. I am now tall, have more friends, have a nice face shape, have been on dates that blew my mind and heads off, and I am happy and grateful for all that. The dude above is right - fix them one by one!
Heck, I even did some routines to become big below so I can show off in the locker room Height neurosis and suicide

I think you might have some misunderstanding here.  Chris is about 5'3 and CC is 5'7.5.  So Chris can think that CC is at normal height.  Am I wrong?  Height neurosis and suicide

I also disagree and im 19 and 5'5 ish. I probably had it alot worse than most of the people looking to get LL currently. I can bet that most got good or exceptional nutrition growing up and that wasnt the case for me. Its one thing to know you did the best to get as tall as you can and you couldnt do nothing about it. But its another thing to be malnourished and suffer from undernutrition, from something thats completely out of your control, which is what your parents could provide for you at a young age and when your a teen growing up. Personally i feel that not getting the best nutrition i could have in all my growing years stunted me because im 5'5 and that was with only feeding my body less than 1000 calories for years on end. I also do regret not getting a job by 16 but all in all my environment growing up was horrible. But, my brother, who easily ate everything in his path got to 5'8 or 5'10, he's maybe even 6 feet now. It really does show you how not having nutrition fked me over because i could guarantee i would have been 5'8+ if i had the nutrition, and i maybe wouldnt even be on this forum right now. So dude if i havent even considered killing myself in the least bit, you shouldnt either man.

Idk you would need to eat only 1 apple per day to get your height stunted.
I had a friend that was eating almost nothing, smoking etc and he is now 6'3 so well...

A person can be tall and stunted, your 6ft3 friend could have been 6ft5 perhaps.

The whole argument about stunting height would make sense if there was a way for people to figure out how tall they could've been otherwise it's all speculation.

Or he's exactly what he should be. You have not a shred of evidence to support that claim, not even an argument that he could've or should've been taller. If I were to stoop to your level of ignorance I can make stupid claims too and say he should've been 5'2 but somehow grew to 6'3.

Quote from: CCMidwest on July 16, 2016, 08:38:05 PMI was suicidal when I was 16 years old. Tried to cut my wrists. Not height related though, just teenage angst and some problems at home (had a rough home life growing up)

Didn't even realize I was 'short' until 31 years old.

I had a buddy kill himself about 3 years ago (not height related). Left a suicide note to the effect of "nobody loves me anymore"

The amount of people at his funeral would beg to differ. I honestly hate him for it.

Height neurosis sucks, it really does, I get it...cause I have it. Still would never kill myself. It's a big world out there, and there is ALWAYS a way to make things work.

My best friend is 5'4-5'5 and does just fine in life.
I would consider Alu a friend for sure, he's 5'4, and seems to do just fine in life.
I have a 5'2 guy working for me that does fine.
I have a 5'5 guy working for me that does fine.
One of my church elders is 5'5 and does fine.
My uncle was 5'7 and did fine (he died a few months ago)
I have another uncle at 5'5 that is worth over $20 million.
Another friend is 5'6 and dating a stripper.
Another friend is 5'5, going to school for architecture, and has a beautiful girlfriend.
Another friend is 5'5, works for a major hotel chain, and is a total player. (edit: he's 5'6)

Read DIFM's diary. He says to quit looking for evidence that short guys get the raw end of the deal. He's right!

This forum, r/short, the misc, 4chan, whatever....are TOXIC if you have height neurosis. Stop reading, stop thinking, and start living!

Height is the stupidest reason to commit suicide. I've known far too many short guys that have good lives. Far too much evidence in the world that a short guy can live a good life. I've NEVER known a short guy in real life that was as miserable as the short guys on the internet. It's mind boggling.

Do most the short guys I know wish they were taller? Probably. Would their lives have been easier? Probably. But none of them let it get to them. Maybe mentally, because I'm not a mind reader, but external results? Yeah, they do fine.

Besides, and I hate to say this because I would NEVER recommend LL to anybody, but there is always LL.

See a shrink. Try a few shrinks until you find a good fit. GET HELP.

QFT

Are you only friends with short people? Lol

My diet from the age of 15 was mostly cigarettes and alcohol so although my growth was affected by it, I would have probably only been like 2 or 3cm taller than I am now. Nutrition is a big thing, just take a look at South Korea, they are significantly taller than they used to be, or at least thats what they make it out to look like. Reason being that they are a first world country unlike other less developed asian countries.

Japan is also a first world country, China is also becoming wealthy and their people are getting enough food. Yet Japanese are shorter than Koreans and Chinese have overtook the Japanese but not the Koreans. The French are probably more healthy than the Germans, yet Germans are taller. So while nutrition does play a big role over several generations, genetics matter.
