To patients that had limb lengthening, how has sitting in a chair changed for you?
I find most chairs to be uncomfortable and not ergonomic because my femurs are not long enough for me to sit fully back in the chair. Most adjustable chairs do not go low enough to place my feet flat on the ground unless I'm wearing shoes.
After limb lengthening, have these problems gotten easier for you? Is it more comfortable to sit in a chair now that your legs are long enough to sit fully back and with your feet on the ground?
How has limb lengthening effected sitting in a chair?

At the moment I can just tell you that after surgery on femur for you seat, man it’s a bit hard for you bend your leg etc, advice I try to move, try to walk at least 2x times after surgery ( if possible ) and push you to bend your leg ASAP, if you take a bit longer to bend it will getting hard….
I m 3 days after surgery and can tell you. ( but of course depend case by case ) I had a lot of pain, and people try to have me the cpm machine which is great but I had just done once and it stopped to work
Thank you for the reply. I am curious how your healing goes and your comfort when sitting. I hope everything goes well. Please keep us updated!
