In terms of pricing and whatnot. I'm thinking two inches on femurs, which is 5cm, would be about 50mm which means on femurs it'll take 50 days to complete, and on tibias it would take about 71 days if lengthening at about 0.7mm/day.

STRYDE nail is far too expensive, and the results and rehabilitation are pretty much the same I'm assuming, so what do you guys think is the next best thing and most bang for your buck?

My first surgery will be on femurs I'm thinking, as it seems to heal quicker and is relatively safer and much quicker, although I'm not too set on which segment I'll get first, so it could be whichever one.

By the way, the reason for wanting two surgeries is: A better range of motion and more ideal proportions. I feel as though having a mismatching femur to tibia ratio is unideal and will likely lead to long-term problems.

The less you pay, the worse it is.  So figure out how much you can afford and then choose what costs that much.

Really? I thought the only difference between STRYDE and PRECICE nails was just weight-bearing ability?
Also, would it be ideal to have two surgeries or no? Only reason I want to get two surgeries is just because I feel like having a disproportionate femur to tibia ratio would cause issues later on. Otherwise I would just settle for one to be honest.

If I were to get femurs I'd only do 2 inches, I don't wanna go the whole route and I feel as though the less I lengthen the better for my overall health. I'm 5' 7" and would be happy to reach 5' 9 or 5' 9.5"

Could do Stryde femurs and LON tibias if you don't mind having an external fixator.

The more you move, the better/quicker your rehabilitation will be.

Internals are definitely best for convenience.

If affordability for both segments becomes an issue, however, you will save quite a bit by doing LON tibias.
