Can someone tell me how the surgeons get the rod into your tibias after the lengthening has finished to give you support after the frames are removed.

I just dont know how they do it

They use a big drill to drill out the middle through your knee, honestly hence why a fraction of people have permanent knee damage. There's a YouTube animation about the precise nail that illustrates it pretty well

I think you are talking about LATN, in that case there are 2 different surgeries, frames and after that the rod to prevent that bone can collapse and reshorten. Talking about LON is just one single surgery, frames and rod at the same time, after that you will just be with the rod.
