I went to go see Dr. Robert Rozbruch at HSS back in June to see if I can get my LLD corrected 0.25 inch 7mm. I get sciatic nerve symptoms such as numbness going down my longer leg possibly due to a secondary scoiliosis thats present from the LLD. Deadlifting and squating without proper heel lifts possibly gave me a bunch of bulging discs throughout my spine according to MRI. He told me "as much as I love operating I think you should do yoga and pilates for a year and correct with a hard cork 7mm lift and then come back if you're annoyed with wearing a lift".
Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? Any advice?

I would seriously advise taking the word of a doctor over the people on this forum. limb lengthening is serious, traumatic physically, mentally and monetarily. I don't see a point doing it for less than a CM discrepancy. If you really think it is so important follow his direction, he is a well respected doctor, and see if that helps you. If you want other doctors assayag and Paley are the other two most respect doctors in the USA but I feel you will get a similar answer
