Any Doctors let you go home to lengthen? I can't stay in a foreign country alone for long periods of time. I can't do it in the states it is very expensive.

I can't think of any for the distraction phase, but that's usually roughly 90 days. Many will let you consolidate at home

Why would you want that? At least stay with your doc for the whole lengthening period. Just so he can monitor you and correct problems.

No doctor can hold you hostage. Technically, they all let you go home. But you better have a solid plan and the resources should you encounter any issues. And everybody does envounter issues. Wether its minir ones like slow regeneration or ballerina to other severe ones.

Any doctor that will tell you "oh, its ok you can ho home 2 weeks after surgery, youll be fine" is making a very uninformed and irresponsible prediction.

Can't really stay in a foreign country for a long period of time, I guess I will have to plan to have it in the states.
