LON Inner nail removal

Hey All,

After the lengenthing is done and the external fixator removal are off. When do you actually remove the inner nail. I know that you only remove it after the bone is healed and come together. But how long normally that takes. And do you recommend going to the same doctor who installed them? Or it can be removed in your town by another doctor?

Let me know your thoughts, experience and the cost of the removal.

15k in the states to remove it and 3k to remove it in turkey. or estimated
it takes 1.5 yrs for the tibias. could be sooner for femurs.
