I am planning to lenghten my Tibias ~5cm with the LON method during summer break 2022. My plan is to stay in Turkey or Greece for the entire lenghtning phase plus a month or so during the consolidation period. I have 3-4 months of complete free time during the summer break before classes at campus starts again.

My questions:
Is it reasonable to assume that after 4 months of surgery to be able to attend classes? I.e being able to walk and perform normal everyday tasks such as taking the stairs up/down etc (with crutches?)
When can I expect to be able to walk completely normal after 5cm of lenghtning? After full consolidation and internal nail removal?

I know the questions are highly subjective and depend greatly on the indivudals recovery. But I'd like to hear from your personal experience so I can somewhat get an idea of how screwed I temporarily will be when I return to my real life.

Is it 1-1.5months per centimeter lenghtened as soon as you start lengthening or after you finished lengthening?
