Quote from: lumiere on December 04, 2015, 09:57:29 AMHi,

as I promise, this is a picture of me without the casts I'm wearing:

Lumiere - External Tibiae with Dr. M. Catagni (Italy)

I have my last consultation in the middle of december, after that I think I'll be allowed to walk without casts.

Honestly, i would have never guessed that you did this operation.
Your proportions look perfectly fine..

Great diary, thanks for that...

Hello Lumiere,

How's your running now? What makes you run slower or tired quickly? Do you think you'll be able to do long distance running in the future?

I wonder what it really is that stops people from getting back to their athletic abilities. Extended muscles that never adapt?

Cheers

Poor ankle mobility is what stops it

Quote from: lumiere on February 21, 2016, 01:37:29 PMWalking is not a problem, only from time to time i get tired during longs and fast walkings...
I can run doing stars up and down, I can stretch and touch my feet, I still havnt tried regular runnings, but I whink I can do it, I will probably just be tired after something like 100 meters.. For that, Im just waiting to a better weather. I have tried swimming, no problems at all. I would say that I am still recovering, but I am in an acceptable state right now, and things can go to be only better from day to day.

a long time has passed now. Can we have some news? I really hope you are doing fine

Lumiere hello. Question: Did you lengthen 8 cm and then lose 1.5 cm to end at 6.5?

8cm on tibias (on a low starting height) without ATL or ballerina foot.

Of course there's a lot of luck involved, but this is why you go to a good doctor.

My bad, it's only ~8cm during his morning height. Still, impressive.

Quote from: lumiereInitial height: 163.5cm
Quote from: lumiere on February 20, 2016, 09:52:07 AMI am 171/172 in the morning, but after the whole day walking around I'm definitely 170.0... Not tall, but better then before!

Quote from: lumiereI am 170, more or less... so I have gained 6.5 cm... I will be able to run soon, I'm just waiting for a reasonable weather...

Probably the morning and night height difference.
