Was wondering if there was a case where I can do 2 months of surgery and lengthen. Be done in 60 days? Be done and walk with crutches . Its ok. So I can go back work. Thats a gain of 5cm?

Assuming all goes well, 60 days is 5 cm

With stryde you can walk without crutches after 2 months but your gait will be weird obviously

I would say that’s tough. A summer would be good like maybe May to September(3-4 months). You should check out Cyborg4life on youtube. They physicians he interviews talk about time needed to return to normal and things like that.

2 months?
I thought you walk in less than a month with stryde as it full weight bearing and most doctors say in about 2 weeks after surgery.
2 months seems too much. Is that from your personal experience?

Yes you could. Dr. Debiparshad actually said he had a patient who was a surgeon who went back to doing full surgery days 2 weeks after the initial procedure. That sounds crazy imo, but 2 months should be doable, but your gait might be off.

I was thinking lon surgery.  Stryde I would save that for later. Growth of 3 inches is alot.

If you're doing LON Tibias 5cm then expect at least like 3+ months in frames. And then like 2 more months of being disabled. Then on month 6 or 7 you can probably use a walker or cane

LON Femurs is not recommended, you cannot sleep

i love how everyone assumed he was doing stryde: oh yeah no worries youll be golden

LON no chance brother,
assuming you only have two months: thats 60 days. typically you dont start lengthening until a week after, 53 days
at a lengthening rate of 0.75mm/day youre looking at 3.975cm gained. you most likely will not have anything close to a decent gait in that time.

Oh yeh maybe not then I guess. 6 months is alot to gain strength for a walker.
