So I want to do my procedure in Russia, with Dr. Kulesh and Solomin. I am most likely going to be doing LON as I do not want the recovery to last too long as I want to do 14cm max (probably might do less). With that In mind I calculated as follows;
1st surgery: Tibia 7cm, about 70 days for distraction followed by 2nd surgery: 7cm femur(again 70 days distraction) both procudures needing 10 days for correction total of about 160days Post Op. Now my question is, after these 160 days of distraction, how long will consolidation take? Meaning: how long until I am able to walk normally without the use of crutches, and with a normal gait so that my walking looks normal?

More than a year after you finish your second lengthening to start walking normal after 2 LLs one after another.

What a bout a break in between, say 3-4 months? It is most likely going to be cross lengthening

Recommend reduces your lengthening goals. I know it's not what you want to hear but it's the truth. You can't have your cake and eat it too with this surgery. It's either fast recover or a big lengthening, you can't have both. There is no negotiation here

7 cm on tibias is crazy. Don't do more than 5.

I know right now I say I want to lengthen 7 on each segment but I will probably only be doing 5cm on each anyway.

It is not crazy. Stop saying things you don't know.
Yes, it is more than safe limit for about 1cm but most people can handle about 6-7cm on tibias without major risks.

Crazy is anything more than 8cm, safe is up to 6cm and 6 to 7cm is on the borders of safeness.

You got any studies to back that up? I guess not.

I agree with you, 8cm is the limit for most people
