Is this possible?

How long will the recovery take?

How are the surgeries spaced out?

There are so many confusing sources online.

Is it safe to get the surgery in Mexico?

I'm very sick of living life at this height as a man. I have everything else going for me and all of it is erased by my height. It's like I'm an outcast and the world gaslights you about it.

Quote from: Ted68 on July 07, 2024, 11:24:20 AMMan, the shorter you are, the less you can elongate !
That is happening because there is a limit for short people. For taller people is easier to stretch more the muscles, nerves and vessels. Just imagine a rubber band of 5cm which can stretch only double. But a 10cm one can be stretched triple... because it has a "cumulative material reserve".

Me, I was 5.7 and I didn't risk to go more than 4.7 inches, because I could ruin my health irreversible !

For you it is risky to go more than 4 inches (to be 5.6 tall), in quad surgery, but if you have patience after 2-3 years you can start again the elongation, because you will already have "reserve of material"... so you can get 2-3 inches extra.
But, keep in mind, first you have to measure well your femur, tibia and wingspan... so you can avoid disproportions !

Yes, that means a lot of money and suffering, but if you'll do it in the right way, it worth and you will be even taller than you hoped !

Don't play s-tupid with your body and your health !

You're welcome !

My wingspan is around 5'8 so I'm going to go for at least 5-6 inches. And honestly, the disproportion fears appear to be way overblown. In real life people don't notice that much --- at least not compared to your actual height when you are very short.

Quote from: AnotherLLer on July 12, 2024, 07:33:13 PMI understand how you feel being 5'2 or something as a male. Even at 5'5 & half I feel short without wearing solid lifts. But, trust me, if you value your legs and functionality, don't cheap out on this surgery and go for the best doctors only. I won't recommend any specific doctor but most US surgeons are fine. Don't pay for obsolete crap nails, only go for PRECICE MAX nail when it becomes mainstream. With tibia, you can save some money and go for LON externals but only with Lee in Korea, no other doctor is capable of getting such results with LON tibia as far as I'm able to see. You can do internal femurs with any decent US surgeon though.

As for lengthening amounts, you would look ridiculous with 6 inches, even 4 inches is pushing it, but is doable and if with 4 inches you can stand at strong 5'6, your life will change dramatically, believe me. You can wear 2 inch lifts to appear a bit below average height whenever needed at that height, so it doesn't worth going for 6 inches as you will look ridiculous nked without camouflaging your proportions with right clothes.

Either you get tons of money for top surgeons or you remain short until then. Unfortunately, there's no other sensible way around it. Your main focus right now should be getting rich rather than becoming tall. Only after having 200-300% the required budget of quadrilateral LL with top surgeon can you think about getting this surgery, not before then.

Have you had LL surgery done?

Also I'd get 4 inches if it was just the femur - one surgery. That way I can do that lengthening and decide whether I'd want to undergo another surgery years later.
