If he does surgery it’s 90k usd which was my case. Any complications keep another 10k extra which I did due to my ft embolism.
I wouldn't pay $90 (let alone 90k!) to be operated by an aged and jet-lagged surgeon who just flew in from the other side of the world a couple of days earlier. It sounds unsafe and not like Paley "safety first etc". Imo it is very dissapointing to see Paley at the sunset of his glorious career betraying his principles and condescending to fly over half the Globe just to pocket a few (thousands) extra bucks. There are other ways or for a mentor to support their trainees if they want to.
all the best with your recovery.
I had femur lengthening
Currently at 6cm in distraction phase. By end of month at 7cm
Waiting for blood results next week to decide if I wanna push last 1 cm
Once again this is not paley assisting his team but his own institute in Europe
Furthermore most cases r severe complex deformities for children born with bone defects.
We should support this initiative as not all can get to the US first and second his experience in handling such cases is second to none
I think their official site is:
https://paleyeurope.com/en/homepage/
Not sure why OP was linking to some polish local version.
No information on prices on the website though. Maybe this Paley European branch is very new?
No mention of any costs
any idea of the costs?
