So yeah the article pretty much explains all of it.

Just to specifically note: it's nothing to do with CLL.

Based on what I read though, I don't think it could hurt his license (if found "guilty" that could be a consequence from the BOM). It's also not necessarily his fault so to speak. The issue is pretty nuanced so it's hard to say.

Just wanted to post this as a small heads up.

Those are pretty bad mistakes. Surgery isn't an assembly line.
