Hi,Guys,I went to the hospital for an interview. The doctor told me that there is a bit of curvature in my femur(which is the normal range for a human being) ,but therefore there are chances that I can only get implanted with a precice nail with a maximum distraction of 5 cm(This short nail can only be distracted by a maximum of 5cm).

Why is it that I've heard so little about this kind of short nail?

Has anyone had the same experience?

Yes, I didn't think it existed before either... Until he told me about the possibility of implanting a 5 cm nail in me. I found the precice description on nuvasive and here are the three types of nail distracting 5cm, 6.5cm and 8cm. But I don't even seem to have heard of anyone on the forum using this short nail(with 10.7Diameter)...
