So with Precise you can be expected to walk unassisted after x amount of months depending on the patient and can partially weight bear, but how do you not need to worry about the mechanism bending post consolidation and can fully weight bear, but before you get the nail removed around the one year mark?

There are different levels of bone maturity. At the 3 month mark there is no bone structure, it’s more like a clot. Also, it’s not one year. That’s an average. My nail was not ready until 17 month mark. I’m also vegetarian so that was probably why, I would drink milk but no meat

So when the bone consolidates more, the bones can aid in supporting the weight also and won’t bend the rod?

Not a doctor here, but I think osteoblasts shoud be thick material so provides some support. Ofc not as hard as the real bones.
