Assuming you are done with your leg lengthening, internal nails are removed, and your weight and proportions are back to normal. Does someone have an idea how much weight you will gain per inch of new length on the femurs and/or tibias? Because with each inch of lengthening, you have new bone, muscles, soft tissues/flesh to fill that gap. I assume the femurs will produce more weight than tibias because there is more flesh around the femurs.

i read an article i dont remember where said that legs without feets weigth around 30 kilos in average people so you can make a proportion about, i dont think 1 kg per cm I think its less than that
It seems like it would be around 1kg per inch then, about 3kg for a 8cm lengthening.

The average sample for 100 men is 173.1cm / 73kg , which is 5’8.1” / 161 lbs

So an estimate of 1kg (2.2 lbs) per inch on the femurs is reasonable.
Would 0.6kg (1.3 lbs) per inch on the tibias seem reasonable?
The reason I’m asking is that I saw a question asked by a potential patient, asking if the weight gain from LL will shorten your lifespan, because more body mass will cause your heart and other vital organs to work harder.
It looks like the weight gains are very small (unless you lengthen excessively) and will have a negligible effect on lifespan.
dont know mate tibias seems less bigger than femurs, but if you are normal weight i think you dont have to worry about it man we are talking about 6 kg at maximum unless you are an actual obesse dont worry.
