When traveling for LL, what objects do people tend to forget to bring?
Quote from: LL2022 on May 01, 2022, 12:57:44 PMWhy two laptops/ipads?
Isn't one of each enough?
Also, Ontop of what you mentioned I'm gonna bring my ricecooker (I'm asian tho), a electric egg boiler and a foldable bed table for my laptop to Istanbul.
Backup in case one breaks. Also the ipads are of different size. Bad idea?
Foldable bed sounds good, I totally forgot about that.

That's a good point. What are some items that might not be obvious that you would prioritize using up the checked luggage space to bring? I am prioritize bringing my favorite blanket (a type of camping blanket, its a bit expensive like 200-300 USD), not sure if I'm making a mistake
I am torn on whether to bring the oculus quest 2 VR headset, its box containing it is decently big
Quote from: wannabeidol on May 02, 2022, 02:06:46 AMi would buy a portable bidet
would probs make life much easier esp in the first couple weeks
That's a good idea. How would I connect it to the hotel bathroom and what questions should I ask the hotel to make sure it will work?
Quote from: jlk on May 02, 2022, 07:08:58 AMURINALS!!!! keep them from when you use them at the hospital. game changer. also bring your own meds. had i known what i know now i would’ve brought 2 things: LUNESTA for sleep and OXYCODONE for pain. these are not always available in certain countries
ty!!
1. So I should take a urinal from the hospital? I'm a bit confused how that works, aren't they mounted to walls in the bathroom or am I misunderstanding?
2. So I should try to get a prescription for Lunesta and oxycodone prescription in the USA before I even come to Greece? How does this work in practice? It seems like it would be hard to get a prescription in the USA beforehand + more expensive, no?
3. Should I bring melatonin? Also seems like it should be cheaper in Greece? I heard that its very noisy near Montaza and Hyatt hotels where he sends the nurses since they are both close to a busy road, I'm assuming my sleep will be very irregular
ty!!
