I heard the average armspan to height ratio is aproximately 1:1, would this differ from it too much?

Depends also on actual arm length.  If you have broad shoulders you will have short looking arms but a higher wingspan.  My clavicles are 2cm wider than average so my visual wingspan is shorter than the numerical value.
