I said I know people with mental illness, I didn't say I treat people with mental illness. I'm not sure if you read my post, but I did say get them help ASAP? Then I gave an example of what I have experienced when dealing with people who have schizophrenia. Then after that I briefly talked about my frustration with people who ignore stats and have cognitive biases but often ignore them. Btw I'm a victim of cognitive bias too, but I try my best to be aware of these things where as others like grow3 and anyone else who rejects stats in this forum tend to double down whenever I try to point out their errors in assessing other peoples height. If my posts are pretty hard to read I'll adjust them accordingly to make them more palatable.

Quote from: ThatGuy on December 05, 2018, 12:34:37 AMI know people with mental illness, the worse thing you can do is ignore them it's very dangerous it's best to address their issues and then get them help ASAP whatever it may be. usually I try to get them to understand just how delusional they are and the worst part is someone even with mild schizophrenia is often absolutely convinced that what they're experiencing is real and it can feel hopeless. In the case of these people who reject stats and deny their cognitive biases I'm not convinced it's hopeless for them. I'm not exactly sure what it'll take to convince these people, but I'm sure it's possible.

You did not have to be mean. If you have formed your own opinion about doing 2 surgeries (you think it is healthier), why do you ask others and being mean to someone who has different opinion than you?

Because peoples lives are at risk. And you were told several times on a different thread of doing 10 cm in ONE operation. This operation is not a joke. Sorry if i hurt your feelings but its for people who read the threads and dont think its okay to lenghtne more than the reccommended amount. so i repeat 10 CM IN ONE OPERATION IS DANGEROUS AND PEOPLE CAN DIE.

Lengthening 10cm tibia is way too dangerous even if done in two separate operations
It’s better to have consultations with good CLL doctors before deciding lengthening amount
Especially if you are pettit woman, cannot expect too much
