My starting height is 5'6 (167.5cm) and I'm planning for a total lengthening of 8cm on femur and tibia to reach a final goal of 5'9 (175cm). I'm fine with an even split of 4cm on each or 4.5cm on femur and 3.5cm on tibia. I'm planning to do this consecutively/sequentially and considering applying for a 9 - 12 months sabbatical to focus on recovery before going back to work. Any thoughts?

5-6.5cm on femurs is reasonable. On average, femurs are 28% longer than tibiae. Consult your surgeon about proportions after an x-ray.

I would personally just do 7-8 cm on femurs. Most patients who do that, choose not to do tibias because they feel satisfied according to multiple surgeons interviewed by cyborg4life. Besides doing 2 segments espicially tibia is more risky, pricy and timeconsuming (being crippled for way longer)...
