What do you think about this idea? I have some friends both in biotechnological and financial industry and I wonder if I could convince some people to play with this idea as I'm very convinced that if everything worked out well in terms of technology (sadly, stem cells and tissue engineering are stil a long shot from working technology) it could be a very lucrative branch of esthetic medicine. The additional problem would be the sheer amount of red tape that is inherent to the medical industry and which could cripple any fledgling company. On the other hand If such technology came to fruition it would be far more popular (and generating more $$$) than any other cosmetic procedure.
Also: I live just 300km from Berlin, the Europe's most innovative technological start-ups hub.
