Hip fractures are quite serious. They are common in old people and associated with high mortality rates. Does anybody know if the risk of hip fracture increases after LL? I know there are limited studies about long-term effects of LL but I would like to know your opinion.
I've also read that some researchers have reported around 30% of people with hip fractures have had a prior fracture; this is known as the “fracture cascade”. They say that the increased risk of subsequent fracture may persist for ten years. Should we be particularly careful after LL as well?

there is risk of hip arthiritis when you disturb tibia/femur ratio of 0.80. this is detailed in LL research. Cant bother to find it right now.
But I can image even if you do 2 LLs to maintain the ratio, the hip will have to work harder to keep the lower legs moving correctly when running, jumping, raising up from sitting position, walking, turning etc. if its enough to cause hip fracture hard to say but LL is a pandoras box, which members here are to scared to open because they wont like what they find
