It'll be this week or next. Sorry, but the forum deleted most of my messages in inbox. Send the questions again if you sent a long time ago.

I already paid for it, but now I'm having a problem with communication. [email protected] Dor Diviya is not answering my e-mails. Can someone try to e-mail them and check if they answer?

Q: When stryde nail will be available. What will be the price? Will it be available in all sizes?
A: Maybe it will be available in august. We don’t know what the price is. It will be available in all sizes.

Q: Price for precise 2.
A: The nail is around $36k and surgery is around U$30k.

Q: How long till I can walk?
A: Usually about 4-5 months you are walking ok.

Q: How much precice cases do you have so far?
A: 3 cosmetic lengthening 3 tibia lengthening.  Comestic lengthening both femur. Tibia patient had one side short.

Q: Can I make the payment in 2 installments?
A: No, part of the money go to the company who build the nails.

Q: Do you think 5.5cm lengthening in femur would do less harm to knee joint or unlikely to get arthritis than 6.5cm lengthening after 10-20years of the surgery?
A: He doesn’t believe if lengthening done right and in safe amounts has negative effects on knee or cause arthritis in the future

Q: What is the maximum amount for tibia and femur?
A: Femur: 7.5cm, tibia 6cm.

Q: How do you treat ballerina foot? Do you perform atl?
A: We prevent it with pt and lengthening safe amounts. If it happens, in last case we perform atl but we don’t like it.

Q: Do prefer LON or LATN?
A: My first preference now is the precice and the Lon.

Q: Do you use other internal nail beside precice?
A: No.

I have more questions, I'll post in tomorrow or after. Unfortunatelly, the record I made was not very good and there is echoes.

Q: What the recommended amount of distraction per day for tibia.
A: For tibia more likely .75cm

Q: How the lengthening is measured? By the xray or by precice ERC machine?
A: Both, but mainly by the xray.

Q: For those who want lengthening both segments do you recommend quadrilateral lengthening or doing one segment and one year later doing the other?
A: Doing one segment and one year later doing the other.

Q:What do you recommend non-catabolic (i.e. mostly anabolic) exercising to stimulate arteriogenesis and angiogenesis in the lengthened legs.
A: I can’t understand his answer (record is pretty bad).

Q: Do you ever had a case of non-union? If you had, how did you treat it?
A: I never had a case of non-union but treated 2 other doctor’s patient for that (I don’t understand the treatment part). But this should not happen if it’s done right.

Q: If I smoke, how long should I wait after stop smoking to do the surgery?
A: 4-6 months.

Q: Is fascia lata a problem to femoral lengthening?
A: Yes (he explains something but I don’t understand)

I may misunderstood what he told about surgery with precice, but if I'm not wrong that's it.
