Having done LL with Stryde I can't even imagine doing it with Precice 2. Getting to PT, the doctor's office, grocery shopping, etc. would be a nightmare. If you have someone taking care of you then I think Precice is an option, but Stryde is the only way to go if you're flying solo.

Well, I'm desperate to the point that I must get the op in summer so... Precice it is, although I am aware it will be hell lol. However, I do go with my girlfriend, so I am lucky in that matter

A lot quicker recovery with Stryde. So much faster bone growth/consolidation and normal gait. Maybe worth waiting for Stryde

Well, it seems it wont be available before end of year in Europe. If I get Precice in June, I will have finished consolidation by then so... I think its worth it. I'm just doing 5 cm thought, I understand Precice is fk up for someone who does like 8.

Quote from: smalltaller on March 02, 2021, 04:38:19 PMI thought the last info by Nuvasive was Q3 2021 for stryde?! When did you talk to your doctor?

Talked to my doctor last week when called to tell me about the recall. Said Stryde will not be available again for at least a year from now. Should also note I'm in the US where it's expected to be back first.

If you don't mind me asking, who is your doctor? Any insight on what it's expected to be at least a year?

If you are at a younger age, bone consolidation is better. Precise is ok. If not it is worth waiti ng for the stryde. One more thing to consider is that if you get tibia done i would say definitely, should wait for stryde.

Assuming you're 35 years old and want to achieve the full 8cm in femurs. Is it better to wait for Stryde? Also, what can a patient expect in the experience of Precice? Thank you so much

I'm 24, doing just 5 cm femurs, and my gf comes with me so... I wish I had Stryde, but in my case I dont think Precice is THAT bad. I also get the big precice nail it seems

What's your starting height? Congrats btw, having that much capital at 24 is impressive.
