Last week I had my dreamed operation of leg lengthening in Milan with Dr. Pili.
This will be my description of my experience.
Some info about me:
I am 30 years old man 163 cm tall (or shoes I should say).
I am aiming to get 8-9 cm taller within the next year.
I am using HEF.

I chose Pili over Catagni because he is more easy to get in touch. He has an assistant that helped me finding an accommodation where to stay.
In addition he promised to do my femurs later if I will not be happy with 8-9 cm.

With regards to femurs, how many cosmetic surgeries has he done (internal precise) for femur lengthening?
Did he give you an idea on the cost for femurs?
I did not ask this question!
But he says he will do it as second procedure if I ask later after this LL, in case I want to be even taller!!!!
He says around 10% of LL patients ask for a second lengthening to the femurs with nails. Considering he does around 30-40 aesthetic LL a year I believe he does 3-4 with nails a year! But this is my thought! 
He promised me he would do it for a special price on me if I request later and promised 5 cm!

i am not sure to choose italy or guichet. i am going to do 4 cm so i can reach 170+. my friend say doing lower leg look better than upper leg but i want to learn english more so england will be my choice. also i do not like scars

I believe lower leg looks better too! People with long lower legs look taller than people with longer femur! 
4 cm would be so easy on tibia!
If learning english is your priority than I understand you... And obviously you don't have budget problems!!!
I saw a few patients with frames at the consultation. A girl getting her leg straight, a child and another couple of guys but I am not sure they were there for LL. 
I went back home after 2 days. But I was offered the option of a nearby place.
An update...
I am doing fine.
The worst day was actually the second day when I was still in hospital. I had some strong medicine given by doctors and that's it.
Now I have some pain but nothing serious.
I walk around in the house but my legs feel very weak, with a funny gummy like sensation.
I hope you guys know what I talk about! 
Dr Pili explained me that with HEF there are no big complications and after 2 days it is safe to go home.
If I have a problem I can contact him and he will tel me what to do.
If I have to come back I will get a train to Milan or Lecco.
I know people doing the same from much more distant.
