URGENT UPDATE!!
Hello guys,
On the last weeks I have been trying to handle the pain, keep my recovery program and a health mindset. Unfortunately I couldn’t hope but to be stressed and worried.
Since the surgery I have a misalignment (can be seen from the side) that became more visible as the leg became less swollen. During the last weeks it became more visible from outside, both the bone and one screw. I was checking the Forum to find someone that might have had similar experience, and that was the moment that I noticed that I might be screwed up.
The doctor said that during the Lengthening the bone would align by itself, but I haven’t seen any improvement, and, althought I am not professional, it doesn’t make much sense that this will happen anyway.
My motivation is very low, I don’t know if I should stop the Lengthening, I am halfway now, around 3,5 cm. I fear having a permanent misaligned bone and having some kind of injury that prevents me to have a healthy life.
I just found 2 posts about that situation. I would be glad if the ones with knowledge give an opinion about the options to fix the problem and if I should continue to be assisted by the same doctor. I want to believe that he is capable of handlannut this but my trust on him is jeopardized.
I am planning on checking an orthopedic doctor (but I value the content and knowledge here on the Forum, that’s why I make a point to hear from you guys) on the next days, even if its not specialist in LL but can help to make my bone aligned again.

No man, forget that. NONE of us here are Limb lengthening doctors who know complications like that. That looks serious and I’ve never seen a lengthening do that especially with precise.
Get off this “forum” ( aka a group of guys JUST like you who are discontent with our height and the issues it gives many of us) and find a QUALIFIED bone doctor ( orthopedic specialist) and see what is that person’s evaluation.
Hope this issue gets fix quickly

Hello the beast, only thing you should consider right now is to contact your doctor and other doctors as well, so that if this is a big issue, I’m sure it’s reversible at this moment. Maybe you should consider to stop lengthening for the moment being. Best of luck to you man! I hope you get through this
It seems that your bone was broken, but with a wrong direction (diagonally instead of perpendicular).
I am not a doctor, but It seems that it can be fixed.
I'm so sorry for you
urgently you should consult another orthopedist..please don't delay..Get well soon..
Dang bro, that honestly doesn't look good, and how the fk would the bone align itself magically if it's fixed on the screws like that and way off from alignment right now? sometimes these doctors know they fked up and try to play stupid... I hate to see it! sorry it's happening to you, never heard of your doctor though ... Muharrem Inan? hope he's capable and ethic enough to fix his wrong doings. best of luck
there was a guy in the forum having the same problem as yours. And his doctor is also in Turkey...

Hello guys!
Im back! Misalignment is fixed on my left leg by the same doctor. I did 6cm on my tibias. Im walking almost normally. I use Right now one crutch to support my right leg because the bone is not healed enough yet. I feel pain when i put my full weight on it. Im happy anyway that i can move by myself without any help.
When my Lengthening was completed and pain started to be ok, i started go to gym in wheelchair. It was very difficult to me but i was like fu*k it.. i have to.. my body need that. When i enter to the gym jesus the face of people who knew and seen me before like Wtf happen to this guy 😂 and a lot of my friend was suprised, shocked to see like that but i just said that my other leg was shorter than the other and needed to make Lengthening to fix it. On the other leg knee problem also that they knew about. So i didnt lie here i had really these two problems but i just didnt tell about Lengthening 😁
Anyway hitting the gym helped me a lot mentally and i got some weight back. I lost during the lenghtening 9kg now i got back 15kg including sweet belly 😅 i had very strong ballerina so that was difficult to fix. I had to stretch A LOT and many time during the day. Every morning i was so stiff and this made me pissed off and the pain was horrible. Now im feeling better but my calves are still tight but its getting better slowly. I will continue my diary and upload some pictures later 😇
