Dr. Giotikas says to send x-rays to him for about 10 months out after the surgery. I'm flying back to the USA after 3 months

Does insurance typically cover the x-rays or is it a bad idea to even submit an insurance payment request to the insurance company for this?

How much should I budget in for the x-rays for these 10 months?

ty!! Curious, how did it work? You booked an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, told him you did CLL, he gave the prescription for the x-ray, and the insurance paid for it? The insurance was never told that it was because it was a cosmetic operation?

It was my primary care doctor who ordered the x-rays.  It was an HMO so there was no coordination between independent providers necessary.  You're better off with something like that in this case.  Trying to get a bureaucrat in an office somewhere, whose job is to figure out how not to pay bills, to pay a random x-ray bill you mail them probably won't work.

Ty!! You are getting a second LL right? What are your thoughts on the financial pros and cons for a USA citizen of doing the second internal LL with Giotikas vs. Parihar?

That 2nd LL has been cancelled.  It would depend on your budget so I can't comment on Greece vs. India.
