Usually, I eat alot of high fiber/bulky foods and I end up going to the bathroom alot in my daily life.
It dawned on me that if someday I do leg lengthening, then having to go to the bathroom alot would actually be inconvenient and increase the odds of an accident from having to get to the bathroom so many times. Using STRYDE might help though.
1. What did you doctor recommend you eat?
2. Did you follow his recommendations? What did you eat?
3. Did it cause alot of bowel movements (ex: did he ask you to eat alot of high fiber vegetables)?
Questions on the diet your leg lengthening doctor recommended
In general the food at Guang Ji hospital was pretty low in fiber. Lots of white rice and noodles with some meat and vegetables on top.
I agree with your thinking here that it's probably best not to use the toilet often.
The bathroom is probably the place an accident is most likely to occur. So Chinese food delivery would probalby be a good diet for you even if you're not in China.
Proteins and veggies, fine to have sweets but better to ease off the sugary junk foods if I could help it. His main thing was to avoid drugs of any type. I lost about 50 lbs over the course of my stay in India, even eating 3 times a day. Was burning through calories faster than I could consume.
The few times I had accidents were when trying to reach the restroom. There was a ledge leading into it that I slipped on once and fell back and hit my head on the wall. There was another time that my legs just gave out from weakness and my ass fell to the ground as my shins stayed upright, which made my knees feel like hell. But those both didn't compare to the pain I'd have when getting a random muscle contraction that tightened around all the pins and wires in my shins momentarily and jolt me out of sleep.
Yeah, I guess if I do this surgery maybe I will ease off on the fiber during lengthening. Maybe fewer berries, fewer vegetables. Right now, I eat pretty big amounts of these. It's just odd because in other scenarios, those would be considered by some to be advantageous to eat lots of.
Did you guys end up eating alot of foods that can just be microwaved/don't have to be cooked? I imagine I'll be doing this, getting precooked things from grocery delivery, maybe I'll find out if amazon or instacart does grocery delivery in North Hollywood where Mahoubian is.
