Hey,
I was reading through a few diaries and this is what I learnt: People who lengthened their tibias 1 mm per day felt more pain compared to those who lengthened 0.75 mm.
I was wondering, is it standard to lengthen 1 mm per day in the femurs too, or can one choose between 1 and 0.75 while doing femurs also?
I'm talking specifically in the context of the Precice 2 here.

1mm is some kind of safe limit so doctors obviously want to lengthen as much as they can in specific period of time. Pain mostly depends on a patient and method used.
As far as i know(at least in my local centre) if the pain of lengthening 1mm is too much for you then doctor can allow you to slow down unless you have a risk of pre-consolidation.
