Long time lurker. Read tons of journals but still can't get a straightforward answer.
Can you return to squatting, dead-lifting and overall working out your legs after your LL procedure?
I am 5'8 and looking to increase height to 5'10. From everything I read, it seems like the more you increase in height, the more you are at risk for post op complications. So if I increase 5cm, would I be able to eventually return to a normal gym routine? I am not a power lifter, so I am not doing a crazy amount of weight. I just like doing lower body.

Yes. Your performance will probably be diminished a bit, but you can still do any exercise you could do before, especially if you only do two inches.
Anyone who says they "can't" means:
1. They tried too soon during the recovery process
2. They're using too much weight for their new body to handle, and could perform those exercises fine with smaller weights
3. The procedure was botched and they're legitimately crippled
