Ok so say someone has LL then what would happen if they had an accident a few years later and broke their leg or legs how would it effect the person who has undergone LL would they just heal as normal or because of the new length would it be harder sorry just curious about this kind of thing
It would heal normal just as any other break or fracture. Process is called osteogenesis.
Accidents and LL are similar but very different. You won't get a clean break with an accident and you can't choose its location, unlike an osteotomy. You can't even choose how quickly you'll get the attention of a doctor if your accident takes place in a remote location.
That out of the way, LL prior to an accident won't make a difference, unless you haven't fully consolidated by the time of the accident. However, an accident before LL may make a difference; your miles may vary.
