Yes. First one will be early June this year. I'll say what doctor I'm going with when I start my diary (in US with Precice nails)
Thanks! Best of luck to you also whenever you start your journey. That quote about not caring how you get there, just the fact that you do get there has really been encouraging lol

Are you still high school? If you do LL this coming June, you probably will miss school which might start new semester on September.
I'll miss a little bit more than a week this school year, and am planning on going virtual for the first few months of the next school year.

Virtual? Like long distance learning with internet? That students participate in classes through webcams? I know some schools are doing it now but in my high school days we won't have that for learning.
My school started Zoom classes at the beginning of the pandemic. This school year, they allowed students to choose between Zoom or in-person, and if someone tested positive for COVID they had to go on Zoom for a week. So I'll just be on Zoom for the first few months of the next school year to finish recovering.

Did you ask your parents to pay up and they said yes or did you need to convince them?

I see. Internet does make things easier for everyone when a pandemic happens or people who have to stay at the hospital for a while due to big surgery. Back in my high school and university days internet connection was still an issue. We were using dial up modem to connect, it failed many times. The connection strength would be inadequate for webcam learning or long distance learning, not sure how people call it. Will you write a diary of your rehab from surgery on here? Like others doing right now?

They said they would pay for it from the start.
